CCR PT.1 π

After working really hard on my film for the past weeks, I am happy to say that the opening is done and ready for viewing. The process started with me not knowing what to do and not an idea in the world. These ideas only came even after the film was done which was very inconvenient BUT that didn’t stop me from working with the one idea that saved me that week. I did not want to give up and I created a brainstorming document then posted it on the blog. The blog carried my journey. I choose a dramatic genre because that is what I knew and as a very dramatic person in my family who lives for the drama, especially when I was being dramatic about finding an idea.
When learning the fundamentals of drama, I enjoyed a few films for research and incorporated some of my own ideas. I do think I made some mistakes regarding the light coloration of some of the shots but I tried to fix that with filters and lighting adjustments in Capcut. I think that should have been established beforehand or at least I should have shot a couple variations so I can have options to choose from. I enjoyed working and experimenting with different things. Ideas kept coming along as I created the film. Especially with my title scene when the rings fall from the background. I thought it was a nice touch and it added that dramatic effect. I also loved working with the equipment and seeing the contrasts with focus as I try it manually, it allowed me a lot of control. As I dived deeper, I began to understand that everything I was doing had meaning, no matter how minor it was. The simple additions made all the difference, even regarding the pace of the audio or shot and how long I would let it play.
After the work that was put in terms of producing, filming, and editing, where there was a lot to incorporate, I created my CCR. I personally enjoyed doing the CCR Pt. 1 because I wanted to create that relaxing vibesss I like to watch when studying, especially with the music. Overall, I enjoyed my time and there was a lot to learn, hopefully I can incorporate these skills in future projects and do lots and lots of preplanning. Thank you so much for this opportunity but now, it is time to say goodbye besties π
