HoW To CrEative ReflecTion ProJecT?!😧
Hey Besties!!!
Yesterday in class, we learned how to make a creative reflection paper. I am so glad we did that so I can think ahead of what I need and want to do. Our teacher told us about the NOTS and the definitely DO! So I thought, why not share with you guys and reflect on what I had just learned to get some ideas????
So what is it?
The CCR is basically what it sounds like. Creatively expression what I had just created to reflect on what I had learned and what I can do for future projects. We do that by responding to the questions listed below:
- How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?
- How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?
- How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
- How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?
Requirements:
Two media products (minimum)- preferably 7-10 minutes combined!
Some examples would include presentation w/voiceover, director commentary, talk show, etc.
(I might do talk show/director commentary OR director commentary/ radio podcast.)
For the first question, it means whether we challenged or didn't challenge genre conventions and reason why. Then, discuss representation and what I did in terms of these conventions.
Second question, discuss target audience and the ideas to make it available to them. Target audience might include demographics and psychographics, I already talked about that in my previous blog post.
Third question, must discuss process of research, planning, and filming overall product. Everything from BAD 🙅to GOOD 🙆...
Fourth question, what tech I used, editing software, etc. I used a lot soooo I think I can substantially talk about this.
FINALEE: Discuss what I learned, what I would do differently, how to improveee.
MAJOR TIPS:
- Script
- Creative method to showcase my reflection
- RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH
- Add visuals
Most importantly, do not be a talking head!
HEHE
Looks like I covered the important parts, so I will give you my thought process for this. I plan to start immediately after editing.
